1. What 3 settings determine camera exposure
The 3 setting that determine the camera exposure are aperture, shutter speed and ISO speed.
2. A description of each setting
Aperture: controls how much light can pass through the camera lens.
Shutter speed: determines how long the sensor in the camera will let light into the camera lens
ISO speed: controls the sensitivity of the sensor that takes in the light
3. An explanation of how each setting appears as an image.
Aperture: The aperture setting controls and determines a photo’s depth of field. If you were to take a picture of a bird, you’d want the camera to focus more on the bird than the surrounding, so you would use a lower f-stop. If you were to take a photograph of a landscape, you’d be using a high f-stop to get a wider and farther picture.
Shutter Speed: Higher shutter speed is best for photographing a moving object, a lower shutter speed makes the image more blurry.
ISO speed: A lower ISO speed is usually more desired than higher because a higher ISO speed makes a noisier image
